Yash Gangster Saga Toxic Spotlights Its Leading Women In Latest Teaser

Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups finally unveiled its star female cast in the high-impact Ladies & Ladies teaser, answering weeks of fan demand. The 1 minute 41 second promo opens with a cheeky age disclaimer before shifting to a moody, retro-gothic world shaped by Geetu Mohandas’ “female gaze.” A haunting voiceover warns, “Love makes monsters of women. It is a beautiful illusion if one understands the depth of its deception,” setting the tone for the film’s dark, morally grey universe.
The teaser functions as a stylish roll-call of five formidable leads. Nayanthara appears as Ganga on a bike, commanding authority, Kiara Advani’s Nadia is framed in high-glamour, Tara Sutaria’s Rebecca owns a smoky lounge as a classic femme fatale, Rukmini Vasanth’s Melissa draws a handgun and Huma Qureshi’s Elizabeth leads a goth punk faction in a dim dining hall. Yash’s Raya closes the clip with a brawl with female fighters, coolly asking, “Do you want to come one at a time… or all together?”
Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, Toxic targets a global audience with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Backed by KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the film is mounted on a ₹850–1000 crore budget with top international technicians. Action comes from John Wick fame JJ Perry, Anbariv, and Kecha Khamphakdee, while Ravi Basrur scores alongside Vishal Mishra and Tanishk Bagchi.
Set in Goa between the 1940s and 1970s, the period gangster saga follows Yash in a dual role as he builds an empire through blood and betrayal. After multiple delays, the film locks a worldwide release for August 26, 2026, using a festive window around Varamahalakshmi, Onam, Eid, and Raksha Bandhan to maximize reach. With character driven storytelling and a powerhouse female ensemble, Toxic aims to redefine the pan-India action genre.
